CRAM-A-CRUISER FOOD DRIVE

A 23 Division CPLC initiative in partnership with 23 Division CRU

Developed to help combat food insecurity within our communities

Members of the 23 Division CPLC, alongside officers from the CRU, team up with local grocery stores to collect donations of non-perishable food items to distribute back to community organizations and food banks. CPLC members developed this initiative as they believed it was important to come up with an initiative that could be of positive value to the local communities. A local food drive was determined to be the most effective and beneficial way to help combat food insecurity concerns.

23 Division CPLC members, in collaboration with volunteers, students, Auxiliary Officers and 23 Division CRU officers, work hard to make sure the Cram-A-Cruiser Food Drives are a huge success. The team spend the day engaging with local community members, handing out stuffed animals to children, and, of course, cramming those cruisers! It is always amazing to see the community step up and contribute a TON of food donations (see pics!). Collected food donations are distributed to a variety of local groups, food banks, and community centers throughout the Division.
