The Learning to Golf / "Putt Out Violence" program is made possible by the generous funding provided by ProAction Cops & Kids. Our officers recognize the tremendous need to foster positive change and to develop opportunities for youth in the North Etobicoke Community. This program offers youth from traditionally underserved local neighbourhoods a fun and educational experience that they may otherwise not have the means to take part in.
Youth get to spend the day once a week participating in golf lessons and engaging with their local Neighbourhood Community Officers. Most days, our local youth receive lessons at the Golf Live Fitness & Heath Club and get to practice in front of a golf simulator. When the weather is nicer, our officers will take the youth participants to the Humber Valley Golf Course where they can develop their skills on the green.

ProAction Cops & Kids is able to provide thousands of young people with life changing programs because of the efforts and dedication of many police partners and volunteers. Each ProAction program is led by officers who go above the call of duty to run a program and dedicate their personal time to ensure that the needs of the young participants are met.
